The Principal Chief Commissioner of Income Tax, M.P.& C.G. Region, exercises jurisdiction over the State of Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh. There are two Chief Commissioners of Income Tax and one Director General of Income Tax (Inv.) for the entire region of Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh.
